Wanda Foster 06/05/2009

Wanda Foster, third-generation owner of the Foster Farm which had been allotted to Louise Beartail as part of the Creek Indian allotments, discussed the history of the land and the family that settled it. The original farm produced primarily cotton. When Wanda and her husband Bill inherited the land from his parents, they began raising alfalfa and cattle and eventually an array of exotic animals. The two built their dream home on the property, finished shortly after Bill's death.
