Description
Wayne Sexton, a 1955 graduate of Oklahoma A&M College (now Oklahoma State University) majoring in Animal Science, discusses his involvement in conservation work in Oklahoma through the years. He describes his involvement with agriculture from a young age and how he has consistently worked on agricultural projects. Sexton explains his education and his path from a high school teacher to an environmental health supervisor for the state. He then explains his work in conservation and his membership on various boards, including his service as a longtime member of Oklahoma's Pittsburg County Conservation District Board of Directors. He comments on the different projects he has worked on, in particular protecting the state's water resources.
