Description
Winston Shindell earned a bachelor's degree in 1960 and a master's degree in 1964 from Oklahoma State University (OSU). He shares childhood memories, experiences as a first-generation college student, and his early interest in OSU's Student Union. Shindell discusses returning to OSU to serve first as the Director of Student Activities and then his ten-year career as Director of the Student Union, beginning in 1971. Also, he talks about the mission of the Union within the University and some memorable guests.
