Zen Stinchcomb, a 1953 graduate of the University of Oklahoma (OU) with a degree in home economics, worked as a home demonstration agent for over thirty years. She talks about her childhood and why she chose to study home economics. Stinchcomb explains the timeline of her career and describes some of the specific programs she put on across county lines. She mentions some of the challenges of this job and some of the things she enjoyed most, like being able to meet new people. She also comments on some of the changes she has noticed in this field over the years.
